Role Description The Physiotherapist is responsible for providing high-quality rehabilitation and physiotherapy services to clients in an on-site setting in Bratislava. This full-time role includes assessing patients, performing functional examinations, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other evidence-based interventions. The role involves monitoring progress, documenting treatments and outcomes, and adjusting therapy programs as needed. The Physiotherapist collaborates closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals, educates patients and families on prevention, home exercises, and lifestyle adjustments, and ensures a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for adults and children. Daily tasks also include maintaining equipment, adhering to clinical protocols, and contributing to continuous improvement of care.
Qualifications
- Formal education in Physiotherapy (bachelor’s or master’s degree) and valid professional license or certification as required in Slovakia.
- Clinical skills in physiotherapy assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic exercise, and manual therapy.
- Experience working with neurological, post-traumatic, and musculoskeletal conditions, including rehabilitation for adults and children.
- Strong patient communication skills, including clear education on exercises, prevention strategies, and treatment expectations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous professional development, and adherence to ethical and legal standards of care.
- Comfort working with modern rehabilitation devices and willingness to learn new techniques and technologies.
- Proficiency in Slovak; additional language skills (e.g., English or German) are an advantage.
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation clinic or hospital setting is beneficial, but motivated early-career professionals are also encouraged to apply.
